    2010 SAMHSA Science and Service Awards

    Community-based organizations that have been exemplary in implementing evidence-based addiction and mental-health interventions may apply for the 2010 Science and Service Awards from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

    These recognition awards (no funding) will be made in the categories of substance abuse prevention, treatment of substance abuse and recovery support services, mental health promotion, treatment of mental illness and recovery support services, and co-occurring disorders. Public- and private-sector organizations may apply.

    Winners will be judged based on community need, sustainability, accurate implementation, and results.
