Thank you to our longtime and esteemed board member, Dr. Herbert Pardes, for his many years of service to our organization and the field of addiction. He was a true visionary, tireless advocate, and a compassionate champion for those struggling with mental health and addiction challenges.
We are also grateful for his longtime friendship and professional collaboration with Joe Califano, which led to Herb’s dedication to us, both as the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse (CASA) and Partnership to End Addiction, and to our mission. He was a very involved and deeply caring board member who did a lot to strengthen and support our work.
