Parents Key in Curbing Teen DXM Abuse


We recently sent a letter to the editor of The Clarion Ledger newspaper in Mississippi, in response an editorial about hundreds of cough medicine bottles that were found in a landfill following a home football game at “Old Miss.” The event sparked conversation about teen medicine abuse, and in particular, teen abuse of cough medicines that contain the active ingredient, dextromethorphan (DXM).
