For the third consecutive year, we are collaborating with National Geographic Channel’s series Drugs, Inc. to raise awareness of the ongoing drug problem in America. Drugs, Inc. gives a 360-degree perspective of the drug trade and investigates the drug epidemic by interviewing everyone from traffickers and dealers to federal agents and individuals addicted to prescription drugs. Throughout this season, the show will air the Partnership’s public service announcements designed to bring attention and drive action around teen medicine abuse.
The collaboration provides National Geographic viewers with resources from the Partnership and an outlet for discussion. In addition to the PSAs, NGC will run billboards to www.drugfree.org and put digital banner ads and blog posts on www.natgeotv.com. Both parties will share each other’s highlights in e-newsletters and social media posts.
