Nominate a Coach or Athlete Today

Is your son’s baseball coach an outstanding leader? Does your daughter’s volleyball teammate excel at sportsmanship and encourage others to make good decisions? If you know a youth coach or student athlete who displays these admirable qualities, we invite you to nominate them for our second annual Commissioner’s Play Healthy Awards

Join us, along with Major League Baseball Charities (MLB), as we search for extraordinary individuals committed to fair, drug-free play and an overall healthy lifestyle. One winning youth coach and one student athlete will receive fantastic prizes, including a trip to New York City for themselves and one special guest, a $1,000 gift card, along with tickets to our annual gala, where they will be honored on stage by The Partnership at Drugfree.org and MLB.

LIVE Facebook Chat: Actor, Author and Parent Melissa Gilbert Will Share Insights on Recovery and Parenting

Join us for our monthly “Meet the Parents Hour,” a popular, LIVE Facebook Chat and Q&A session taking place next Thursday, July 28 at 12 p.m. EDT/ 9 a.m. PDT, featuring our national spokesperson and mom, Melissa Gilbert, who is in recovery from alcohol abuse. Melissa, along with an expert on substance abuse, will answer questions about drug and alcohol addiction and offer advice to parents who are dealing with similar issues in their own families.

Welcome Country Singer/Songwriter Hannah Weeks

Please give a big country welcome to singer and songwriter Hannah Michelle Weeks.  Having personally witnessed a friend’s drug addiction and determined to use her voice and talent to help other families, Hannah joins us as an ambassador for our cause.
