Julie Giragosian, Special Events Associate

The Partnership at Drugfree.org welcomes the newest addition to our Development team, Julie Giragosian. Julie will work closely on all of our organization’s special events, including our annual Winter Wish Gala, our upcoming All-Star Tasting event, an exclusive shopping night “Fashion for Hope” and others.

Julie joins us from the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD), where she worked on the GLAAD Media Awards as Event Manager. Prior to GLAAD, Julie worked at a Boston-based events company called Conventures and was employed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in Washington, DC. She graduated from Tufts University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.

“I am excited to start at such a great organization as The Partnership at Drugfree.org,” Julie said. “I am very much looking forward to the new events we have coming up this year, and working to help develop them into signature events that will continue to raise funds for this important cause.”
