“From Monologue to Dialogue” – Presentation at the Association of National Advertisers Conference

The Partnership at Drugfree.org presented at the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) Members Only Conference, “Driving Results – Consumer Insights to Action, in Purchase, New York this week.

Our Director of Strategy and Programs, Sean Clarkin, and our Digital Media and Marketing Director, Hilary Baris, presented to more than 100 ANA attendees in a session that focused on our organization’s evolution from a traditional advertising model to a trusted online resource that helps parents prevent, intervene in and find treatment for drug and alcohol use by their children.

Sean and Hilary discussed how we utilize consumer insights and parent feedback, enabling us to connect with families and provide the resources they need most on this critical health issue.

“The presentation sparked lively conversations from parents in the room around the topic of drug and alcohol use,” said Hilary. “Parents thanked us for the important work we do as an organization and one mom shared with us that, thanks to our presentation, she now knows how to handle the conversation if her child asks if she tried drugs. Many moms expressed that they were grateful to know these tools exist to help them navigate the potential obstacles ahead.”
