What is Life After…?
The Partnership for a Drug-Free America created Life After… as a place where stories of addiction and recovery can make a significant impact. Each person recovering from substance abuse has a unique experience to share and can bring a human face to an issue that affects millions of Americans each day. Life After… allows you to build a unique place on the web where you can share written and/or video stories with us, celebrate your recovery, get encouragement from friends and family or find help for loved one during a tough time. These true stories from real users are the most impactful way to show that not only is recovery possible, but that life after can be rewarding and fulfilling.
How do I create my story?
We’ve tried to make this process as simple as we could. You can upload a video and photos, write a short profile and even create full-length meth stories. Creating a recovery story takes 6 easy steps (and some are optional!)
Thanks to you and others like you who have chosen to share their stories and experiences of life after substance abuse, this site can offer hope and inspiration to those struggling with addiction, as well as provide support and encouragement for families and loved ones.

Note: All recovery stories submitted to this site will be reviewed by the Partnership before they are posted. Please allow approximately two-three business days for this process. Once your story is posted, you will receive an e-mail letting you know your story is available for viewing.
