The television shows Glee, Southland, Parenthood and Shameless, along with the feature films Warrior and Take Shelter, were among those that were honored recently at the 16th Annual PRISM Awards ceremony.

The awards honor the accurate depiction of drug, alcohol and tobacco use and addiction, as well as mental health issues, in television, film, music, DVD and comic books. The awards are produced by the Entertainment Industries Council, Inc., in collaboration with FX.

Other winners included Dr. Drew’s Lifechangers, Days of Our Lives and In The Mix. Winners are selected by a committee of entertainment industry professionals and technical experts from the fields of medicine, mental health, and addiction.
