I was twenty-three when I started using Meth. At first, I felt like Supermom. I stayed up about four days and cleaned the floors with a toothbrush. But when it wore off, I had intense cravings for more. Soon, I ran out of money and dope, so I stole from my kidsŐ piggy banks. I lost so much weight I looked like death. I stayed in my bedroom and covered the windows. By the time my kids were 8 and 5 they were doing their own laundry and cooking their own food. They were eating and drinking from plastic cups soaked in fumes from our Meth lab. I eventually signed over custody of them while I was in jail. And when I got out, the very first thing I did was get high.
