Hi, my name is Ashley Greenlee,
I'm writing to tell you a little about my story.
Most of my child hood was living in a meth home. My mom and dad were on meth or something as far back as I can remember. I spent alot of time at home, but there was always so many people coming and going in our house, it was never really dull.
mom and dad mostly stayed in their room, they always tried to hide their drug problem but me and my sister wasn't stupid, we knew. When your parents are up for days, and having blankets over the windows keeping it real dark and always peeking out the windows, you kinda know there is something wrong.
My mom always thought she was hearing voices outside the house or in the house somewhere. me and my sister were really scared sometimes. Sometimes I felt like me and my sister were all alone, but we had each other.
I've seen needles were somebody or my mom had left out. Sometimes we might walk in on mom or somebody doing a cook, they would be really mad, and make us go back outside to keep a watch out. The smell in the house was awful, I would see certain things when my parents thought I wouldn't. I 've heard them talk about ingredients, red, black, white and I knew what they were. I seen my mom doing matches to take the red off of match books.
I have alot more I could tell you but mom says just a few lines.
I would like to say to any kids who are out there in meth, like me and my sister was. Don't give up on your parents, there is hope for your parents. my mom turned our lives around and if she can do it any one can. |
