New York, NY, January 18, 2007 -- For 15 years, Tom Sizemore led an A-list life, acting in films with top directors such as Steven Spielberg, Oliver Stone, and Ridley Scott. But underneath the glamour, Tom's life was combusting into a drug-fuelled
fireball, and his methamphetamine and heroin addiction led him to hit rock bottom.

With unfettered access, VH1 follows Tom and his small remaining entourage, including Luree, Tom's jaded but fiercely loyal personal assistant, and Byron, a clingy and despised "sober companion" as he tries to put his life back together after he leaves treatment.  Tom faces a hardnosed prosecutor eager to put him away for battery (filied by his former girlfriend "Hollywood Madam" Heidi Fleiss), and takes a job in an ultra low-budget Canadian horror movie -- his first sober acting gig in years. Interspersed in the documentary footage are pointed, judicious flashbacks of Tom's own never-before-seen personal footage spanning the last few years -- filming himself on drugs, succumbing to bouts of terrifying paranoia and rage.

Through this documentary series, you will come to know a man who is determined to live again and be accepted by his peers while he attempts to climb back to the

upper echelon of his craft. Most importantly, you will witness Tom’s difficult journey on the path to recovery and see what it takes for a celebrity to overcome the disease of addiction and get his life back on track.

Shooting Sizemore premiered on VH1 on Sunday January 7th at 10:30pm EST, and will have new episodes airing each following Sunday at 10:30pm.
