 Methamphetamine abuse had take over Charlotte's life - she craved the effects of meth, and before she knew it, Charlotte was a meth addict. The side effects of meth caused her to lose a lot of weight and stay up for days and nights at a time. . She began to run out of money to to support her methamphetamine addiction, so she started pawning valuables from her house and taking money from her kids' piggy banks. She finally realized the dangers of crystal meth and the terrible toll it was taking and took it upon herself to get better for her children and stop being a meth user. |
 Eric Stone did not know the dangers of meth until he realized he had a full-blown methamphetamine addiction. His signs of meth use apparent, his mother tried to help him, but Eric, a meth addict, didn't listen. Thrown in jail, his fellow inmates even told him that the effects of meth were taking its toll on him, and he needed to seek meth treatment.  Todd initially went into meth treatment recovery to get the courts off his back - but he finally realized that his methamphetamine addiction was hurting the people he loved. After meth treatment he feared he would see the same meth users and he would crave the effects of meth and once again become a meth addict.  Donnie, Karrie and Brandon tried to escape reality through the effects of meth. They didn't know that their meth addictions could take them to a point of no return.  Sara allowed A&E to film her struggle with her methamphetamine addiction. Despite her pleading parents, Sara refused to seek meth treatment to help with her problem. Although she was a meth addict who had temporarily lost custody of her daughter, the negative effects of meth weren't enough to stop her. When Sara's parents noticed the signs of meth use in their house, they knew they had to take action. They held an intervention and convinced Sara that her methamphetamine addiction was out of control, and she finally accepted meth treatment. |
