Donnie, Karrie and Brandon's Story
Donnie, Karrie and Brandon tried to escape reality through the effects of meth. They didn't know that their meth addictions could take them to a point of no return. They all felt invincible but when they started to come down, the meth side effects made them feel terrible. The dangers of meth became apparent when they didn't recognize themselves in the mirror anymore. They saw the severe signs of meth use -- track marks along their arms, sores, scars and rotten teeth. Their methamphetamine addiction has caused them to regret events in their past lives. They wanted a way out, and sought methamphetamine treatment.
Jennifer's Story
Jennifer, a mother of two girls, began her methamphetamine abuse when she was first married. She spent time with meth users and didn't know the dangers of meth - she even liked the meth effects. It didn't take long for her to develop a methamphetamine addiction. Although Jennifer experienced terrible meth side effects she didn't seek meth treatment for a long time - her methamphetamine addiction was too strong. Once she finally realized she could lose her daughters, she sought meth treatment.
Todd's Story
Todd initially went into meth treatment recovery to get the courts off his back - but he finally realized that his methamphetamine addiction was hurting the people he loved. After meth treatment he feared he would see the same meth users and he would crave the effects of meth and once again become a meth addict. Todd now believes that getting treatment for a crystal meth addiction is the smartest thing a meth addict can do.
Eric's Story
Eric Stone did not know the dangers of meth until he realized he had a full-blown methamphetamine addiction. His signs of meth use apparent, his mother tried to help him, but Eric, a meth addict, didn't listen. Thrown in jail, his fellow inmates even told him that the effects of meth were taking its toll on him, and he needed to seek meth treatment. Today, Eric is dedicated to giving teens and parents important meth information to help them become aware of the hazards of methamphetamine addiction, crystal meth symptoms and where to find methamphetamine treatment.
Paul's Story
Meth gave Paul a "false impression." He liked the effects of meth, not knowing that his methamphetamine addiction would turn his life upside-down. The crystal meth symptoms made Paul think he was on top of the world, when it really left him homeless. His meth addiction kept him on the streets and involved him in a robbery with another meth addict. Now Paul understands the dangers of meth and if he hadn't been caught that night, his methamphetamine abuse could have eventually got him killed. Now his goal is to reach out to kids and provide them with meth information to keep them away from meth addictions.
