Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my memorial not immediately available for viewing?
Once you submit your memorial, it's sent to the Partnership to be reviewed by our editorial team to ensure the content complies with our  terms of use and   privacy policy. Our team may also do a light edit to fix any typos or grammatical errors. You can expect your memorial to be posted on the site in approximately two business days. You'll receive an email confirmation once it's available for viewing.

Why is my memorial not showing up in the "ripples" on the homepage?
The names appearing in the homepage ripples are a random selection pulled from all of the memorials on this site. At some point, the name you're looking for will appear – but there's no way control to when that will happen. Go the the "Find A Memorial" page to search or browse for memorials.

How come one of the photos I uploaded isn't appearing on my memorial?
Occasionally photos that are uploaded appear too blurry, fuzzy or small for proper viewing on the site. We strongly recommend that photos be in JPEG format and no larger than 300x300 pixels. If a photo isn't legible or doesn't comply with our  terms of use and   privacy policy , we may take the liberty to remove it. If you would like us to replace it with a new photo, email the new photo, the new caption, the name of your memorial to: memorials@drugfree.org.
