My best friend and I decided to experiment with smoking marijuana. One thing lead to another and we ended up smoking ever weekend. Which lead to everyday, Then to 3-4 times a day. We decided marijuana wasn't strong enough anymore so we tried almost every other drug out there besides heroin. We knew the risk in heroin and didn't want to take it. I guess we had some sort of will power. Also I had an uncle who was addicted to heroin. I had seen how much it screwed up his life.

But in the process of doing all these drugs I ended up dropping out of school. Once I started working I realized that the only thing drugs did was screwed up my life worse then it already was. So I quit doing drugs.

I didn't just slow down and quit. I quit right on the spot. Well my best friend, he didn't quit. He is still doing drugs to this day. I moved away for three years and moved back. I have known him since I was 5. I have been living here for almost a year now and haven't seen him yet.

Drugs made me screw up my life and lose my best friend. Now I own my own online company. But I still sometimes cry when I think how I lost the greatest person to me.
